Дело в Верховном суде США [Supreme Court, U.S.], решение по которому (1987) определило, что представление суду подробностей и красноречивых деталей убийства и состояния жертвы на стадии вынесения приговора "недопустимо настраивает присяжных", тем самым нарушая Восьмую поправку [Eighth Amendment] к Конституции
